1. Poetry: literature that is written in meter/verse.
2. Lines: what poetry is written in.
3. Stanzas: groups of poetic lines (similar to paragraphs).
4. Rhyme: words that end with the same sounds.
5. Meter: the rhythm established by a poem.
6. Narrative Poem: a poem that tells a story, tale, etc.
7. Lyrical Poetry: poetry of a more personal nature that portrays the poet's own feelings, states of mind, and perceptions.
8. Free Verse: poems that do not rhyme.
9. Humorous Poem: a comical poem; funny.
